Email from any provider, in the same panel as your DMs

Email: how it works

  1. Choose your provider

    Sign in with Google or Microsoft, or use an app password for Yahoo, iCloud and other IMAP mailboxes.

  2. Mail arrives in the panel

    Read, search and reply to threads without leaving AdaptiveReply.

  3. Turn on assistant replies if you want them

    Per mailbox: the assistant sends the reply, or drafts it and waits for your approval.

Animated demo: messages from WhatsApp, Instagram, email, web chat and Messenger arrive in one inbox, the AI assistant answers most of them, and the conversations that need a person are filtered and opened.

What it does

  • Connects Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud and other IMAP mailboxes.
  • Lets your team read, search and answer customer email from the panel.
  • Lets the assistant auto-send replies or prepare drafts for approval, per mailbox.

What it does not do

  • Assistant replies are off until you turn them on for a mailbox. Until then email only arrives in your inbox.
  • Yahoo and iCloud need an app password, and a changed password disconnects the mailbox until you reconnect it.
Setup

Email: getting started

  1. Step 1

    In Settings, open Connected Accounts and choose your email provider.

  2. Step 2

    Sign in on the secure sign-in page. On a company Microsoft account an administrator may have to approve first.

  3. Step 3

    On the mailbox card, choose whether the assistant replies, drafts for approval, or stays off.

Which email providers can I connect?

Gmail connects directly with Google sign-in. Outlook / Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud and other IMAP mailboxes connect through Nylas, on a secure sign-in page; your password is never shown to AdaptiveReply.

Does the assistant answer emails automatically?

Only if you turn it on for that mailbox. You choose between sending the reply automatically and preparing a draft that waits for your approval. With the setting off, emails simply arrive in your inbox.
